Raised in various cities across Florida, Alexis Mativi discovered her passion for the art of performance at a young age. Whether it was attending piano lessons, performing in tap concerts or putting on a skit show for her parents, she always found a way to quench her thirst for performance. At the age of 11 she was selected to move to Los Angeles, California to pursue a six month contract with a manager and agent. After shooting two commercials, one for the initial iPod advertising campaign, and another for the Indiana Hospital, she moved back to Florida to finish her schooling.

Alexis graduated from the BFA Musical Theatre program at the University of Central Florida. During her time there she was seen in Sideshow (Snake Lady U/S), The Drowsy Chaperone (Servant), WASP (Sister) and The Music Man (Marian). In her free time, she taught music fundamentals to children ranging from age two to six at various different programs around Orlando. After graduation, she began her professional career as a cross trained performer in the Hogwarts School Choir in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando. Since then, she has performed in numerous shows with RWS & Associates and she moved all the way to Los Angeles, CA to open the new Hogwarts School Choir in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood!

Alexis also has a thirst for adventure and loves to travel, whether it be for work or pleasure. She’s visited the military base in Okinawa, Japan where she performed a holiday themed show for the troops and their families. She also traveled to Hawaii to perform a medley for a prestigious law firm’s award ceremony. She hopes to one day visit the island of Madagascar where she can finally interact with her favorite animal, the Lemur!
